Want to add TNT Sports to your Sky TV line-up? Whether you’re already a Sky customer or looking to join, let us explain how to get TNT Sports, how much it costs and the different ways you can watch your favourite sporting action.
How to get BT Sport on Sky
For existing Sky customers, it’s super easy to get TNT Sport added to whichever existing Sky package you own.
It’s a simple add-on, so you can apply it whenever you’d like. Simply login to your Sky account online, locate the “amend your package” section, and from there you’ll find packs to add-on, which is where you’ll find TNT Sports.
For new customers, it’s essentially the exact same process. Sky don’t offer any pre-made packages with TNT Sports included, so when you’re setting up your Sky TV package, you’ll reach the point of choosing any optional add-ons. That’s where you can choose to include it.
How much is BT Sport on Sky?
Regardless of if you’re a new or existing customer, the cost is the same for the TNT Sports add-on: £25 a month.
It’s available on a 31-day rolling contract meaning you can cancel and pick it up again whenever you’d like. Do bear in mind though that when cancelling, you need to give 31-days notice. So if you cancel during the month, you will still pay for and receive the benefits of another month before it is removed from your package.
The £25 a month is also an introductory price. After 24 months, the cost reverts to the standard going price of £34 a month.
Do I need Sky Sports to get TNT Sports?
No. TNT Sports is a separate TV pack, so you can add it without taking Sky Sports.
Already have Sky Sports? You can add TNT Sports alongside it without first cancelling your existing sports subscription. Having both gives you a wider choice of coverage, but they remain separate paid services.
What can I watch on TNT Sports?
The main channels are TNT Sports 1, TNT Sports 2, TNT Sports 3 and TNT Sports 4. It also includes Eurosport as it was integrated into TNT Sports, meaning it’s the home of multi-sport events such as the Summer and Winter Olympic Games.
TNT Sports’ range of sports spans many mediums, including:
- 52 Premier League games each season
- FA Cup
- Champions League (shared with Prime Video)
- Europa League
- Conference League
- MotoGP
- PREM rugby
- Cycling
- MLB baseball
- Summer & Winter Olympic Games
Can I watch TNT Sports on Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream?
Yes, TNT Sports is available on all three platforms. When ordering, check that you’re adding the pack to the Sky account and TV service you actually use.
Can I watch TNT Sports on Sky Go?
Yes. If you subscribe to TNT Sports through Sky, you can also watch through Sky Go. Sign in with the Sky account linked to your subscription.
Buying TNT Sports from another provider does not automatically add it to your Sky subscription. Follow that provider’s viewing instructions instead.
Which app do I use for TNT Sports?
HBO Max is now the streaming home of TNT Sports in the UK, following its move from Discovery+ on 26 March 2026.
If you subscribe through Sky, activate your access through Sky before streaming:
- Open HBO Max from your Sky home screen and select the activation option.
- Follow the prompts to create an account or link an existing one.
- Use that HBO Max login to watch on supported devices.
If you have already activated your account, you can sign in with your existing details.
The HBO Max Basic with Ads entertainment plan included with eligible Sky packages does not automatically include TNT Sports. You still need the sports subscription.
How do I cancel TNT Sports on Sky?
Start with the provider that bills you. If that’s Sky, ask Sky to remove TNT Sports and confirm the end date and final charge.
Check your own agreement before cancelling, especially if you accepted a discounted offer. Make clear that you want to remove TNT Sports so you can review the effect on any other discounts before agreeing to a change.
Why not add broadband to your package?
With many TV providers going down the route of streaming-based television, you’ll be in need of a solid WiFi connection in your home that will be capable of keeping up.
Be sure to use our broadband comparison tool to search for providers and package deals that are available to you.
